Within the Mars Horsecare UK Ltd organisation we have a vacancy for a Customer Services Advisor. This position provides customer service for both wholesale and retail customers progressing orders from input through to despatch, resolving customer related issues and providing support for the field based sales team.
As a member of the Customer Service team you will be an integral part of day to day business within Mars Horsecare UK Ltd, working closely with the Transport, Warehouse and Production teams to ensure that we provide both our internal and external customers with the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
As part of the Customer Service Team, this role is based at our head office in Milton Keynes and will report to the Customer Services Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Progress daily customer orders placed from input through to despatch
Create opportunities to deliver additional sales where appropriate
Co-ordinate the transfer order system and manage all national sales campaign output through regular liaison and accurate reporting to the field based sales team
Support the export controller by liaising with export partners, shipping agents and licensing to fulfil all export orders and paperwork
Key Skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
The ability to work on your own initiative and still be able to work effectively as part of a team
Good computer literacy
Strong service mentality and willingness to perform responsibilities outside of the job description
Previous experience in a consumer related environment would be a distinct advantage
Equine knowledge would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement
